Johnny Cash will always be legend.

The Country Music Community is really snobby in that aspect...It's really sad.

Country has gotten more and more rockish over the years, so it's probably a bit more tolerable in that way. I know a lot of cool people that like country and southern rock.

The other day I was in the mood to hear something that would give my sub a workout. Bumpin.

Nothing on the radio presets so I started scanning.... out of all the hip hop and rap and rock I passed, the thing that had the most bass to it was some country crap on froggy 101. I listened for about 30 seconds and couldn't take it any more. It just sucks!

Worst part was that it had the most bump of anything on the radio at that time.

why do all country stations have the word "frog" or "bug" or some variation of one or both in their names?

Because they are mostly all owned by the same company. Clear Channel owns most of all the radio stations in the US.... THUS why music and programming is the same pretty much everywhere AND why it all sucks.

"How big is Clear Channel? The company owns stations in 247 of the nation's 250 largest radio markets. Clear Channel in particular dominates the Top 40 format (KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, WHTZ and WKTU in New York, KHKS in Dallas, WXKS in Boston, WHYI in Miami, etc.) and controls 60 percent of rock-radio listening."
