I liked Damon a lot. He had a good head on his shoulders, I'm sure he'll be missed by the Red Sox and Red Sox fans.

 

I agree. Maybe he's the smart one for leaving after seeing the chaos that's happening with the Red Sox right now. But, it's still another reason to hate the Yankees.

I dont really like this move all that much being a yankee fan. They rediculously overpaid for him. He is not worth 52 million over 4 years by any means. His outfield defense was slipping last year in Boston and frankly I doubt he could throw out the trash on trash night with that arm of his.

On the offensive side He is the perfect leadoff hitter, this way it pushes everyone down a spot for the Yanks

Anyways I feel that we are just going to be seeing a newer version of bernie, with Damon's level of play dropping steadily for the next couple of years til we are dreading him playing every day in Center.
