well if it's super clean, with low miles, it's worth $4000. i sold my 94 ex, which i was the 2nd owner of, to my girl for $3000 and it's gorgeous. 100% up to date on maintenance, needs NOTHING. it had 157k on it when i sold it to her. i got my current ls teg for $2000, and i've put less than $500 into it so far. even if you over-paid for the car, it's worth it to build up your credit score.
