moral of the story, do the work yourself next time. if you have glass protection on your car crack your windshield and get a new windshield if your so worried about it. I know places out here in phoenix, they give you free steakes if you get a windshield replacement with them.

it's a 4000 dollar car, and im still paying for it, so i have full coverage

I'm smack dab in the middle, like 2 blocks from downtown... but im over in that direction a lot... need to get some pics... i'll see what i can do in that aspect... dont have a camera at the moment

Im curious to how a rubber wiper can scratch glass :thinking: Was it because the wiper was too small and some of the metal of the wiper arm was touching the glass?

I think it might be a good idea to call a glass place. Like an auto-glass type place, because they just might have some remedy for you. I'm sure they get this kind of thing from time to time.
