I was dirivng from Pleasanton to Foster City to drop off a gift for my moms friend whos in town for awhile. I took the 580 West to the San Mateo Bridge. I borrowed one of our Fastrak passes from our LandRover and took the Fastrak lane at the toll. My FasTrak didnt beep nor did the light go up saying "Valid, Etc" or w/e. Now, every car except mine in my house has a Fastrak. I heard they take pictures in these situations. What do you think I should do? Should I maybe expect a fine? Or should I email them tonight about the situation?

 

Don't worry about it, you're fine. It's happened to me many times.

 

I once passed through a Fastrak only lane without the device. Some weeks later, the fine came in the mail: a whopping $8. You're probably fine and if it's an issue, I'm sure you can dispute it.

 

or u could get that spray for $30 that blocks ur plates from cameras :rick:
do fastrak places use flashes?

If they're smart enough the state will cross-check your plates to see if the car is linked to the device :hsdunno:

 

they are portable and transferable.

 

Oh well, if 8 bucks, i can handle
