So the other day I noticed that my play/pause, ff, rewind, and stop buttons weren't working so I had to reinstall the software for that. Since then I've noticed that the little icons next to the clock aren't showing up. Not for my external harddrives, not for anything except for like 3 of them...

What should I do to get them back?

Weird... Its working now. I had restarted and I had my computer off for a few hours(I don't turn it off very often). Nothing was working so I tried to so a system restore from 2 weeks ago. I tried a restore from every day but none of them would work. So I was about to restore the computer from default when I noticed it finally showed all of the icons..

 

system restore is crap... just turn it off

Sortaish. I'm on a laptop and theres some buttons on the left hand side of the keyboard. I've been disappointed in this laptop many times. Not well designed. Buttons are in accessable when screen is closed. Speakers are right where your arms go when you type, not the best sound quality. Lots of shit on the computer that Toshiba installs. And the internal HD is 5400. I'm hoping to get a 100 or larger internal with 7200 for Christmas, I don't think I will though. I'll request it from my uncle.
