He's fricken stupid for doing that. If he has some sort of mental illness why didnt I read that his wife was yelling he's ill or something.
Secondly, you dont run towards someone with a gun claiming to have a bomb.

He was also given 2 verbal warnings. Usually they only get 1 if they're lucky.

i dont see on what grounds the family could sue...granted the man may have been mentally ill but in a situation such as this the air marshals were unaware of it and this man was claiming to have a bomb and was refusing to follow orders from the air marshals. he then made agressive moves twice towards them. the law would have been on their side here. its sad if he was ill but the way the incident was handled was handled quite well imo

Man props to the Marshall... I would have done the same.
What I am really surprised at, is this guy was saying he had a bomb on the plane while in flight to Miami, and no passengers did a thing.
I'd be all over the mofo. If I am going to die from a bomb on a plane, I am at the very least going to the Pearly Gates knowing I at least tried to help out.
