Sad! Only hard drive slides?
Thats a fan in the front? Weird.. Does it have led lights? Thats one thing I wish ours was different. I wish the lights were dimmer.

#1 why do you want/need AGP? Using a video card from a previous setup? If not, go PCIe!
#2 all mobo's are PATA:lol: did you mean SATA?

In anycase, you can't go wrong with the ABIT AV8 S939 VIA K8T800 Pro$102, but call em to find out when they're gonna be back in stock.

I just picked up a DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D and Athlon64 3000+ Venice core
can't wait to get the rest of the stuff so I can build this badboy

1. Yes. Using old card.
2. I just thought the newer boards might cut out the PATA plugs as SATA starts to take over h: I have PATA drives.

I see. I don't think PATA is going to take over SATA as quickly as they made it seem. At this point, the gains of SATA vs. PATA are minimal, unless you go w/SATA-IO. I do like not having to worry about setting master/slave jumpers and all that crap anymore, and the cables are much easier to work with too.

That being said, I have a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus9 SATA 160gig HD on orderh:

I would go with that one. Asus is a reputable board with all the features you need for a reasonable cost. Really won't get much closer to this.

ASUS makes a good board, but has been known to have poor customer service. So if you get it, pray nothing is wrong with it
