First Descent
Anyone seen the previews for this? Looks fucking badass...I'll definitely see it, as I'm a huge fan of snowboarding. I hope it's in IMAX.

Soooooo I saw the movie last night, holy shit was it good. It goes through a lot of the history of snowboarding, and how it's progressed into what it is now. The footage of backcountry riding up in Alaska is just insane. My favorite rider of all time, Terje Haakonsen made a "first descent" in the Alaskan backcountry, riding a mountain nobody else ever has. It's amazing to see how much terrain is up there, and according to the movie most of the mountains are still undiscovered/unridden.
