You can repair install IE without the need for a format. The ass kicker is that you also have to install every one of the updates along with it.

here is a hint. as long u have limewire install n ur pc then u better keep scanning for spyware and virus. and holyshit ppl still use audiograbber.
for ie either run a real full scandisk n ur pc (require a full reboot) or this should get u fix.

Have you tried Restoring Defaults?
Tools > Internet Options. On the Advanced Tab hit the "Restore Defaults" button and click apply. and do a disk cleanup after. once u done restart ur computer n safe mode and run >>>XoftSpy <<< is the only thing u will ever need. done
but keep n mind u are running spyware software in ur pc and no matter how many times u scan ur pc for spyware there will always be spyware.
Ps. that error = ur browser was hijack and is one of the million flaws ie has over firefox.
