what they fail to mention in that article (conveniently) is that 56k in one area of the country is like making 36k in another part of the country due to the high cost of living. You're probably right. I saw that crabbing show on the discovery channel, those crabbing guys make thousands in the few days of whatever crabbing season... Add that to your regular 9 to 5 job, and you make some hot money. I didn't think that fishing/crabbing employed that many people though.

what about the thousands of ppl who travel from conn pa nj nh to NYC?
ny is not n the list but yet so many ppl from out of ny and work n nyc are making lots of $$$ here and they dont waste much back at their home. the gov of virginia was at my job the other day, investing/making money here n nyc.

the one thing i notice is everywhere i go outside of nyc i can actually smell the air.
