went out to anza-borrego state park, and had a good time. the bug was running really good. then i was making a turn and hit a whoop that was on the edge of the turn sideways and was going fast enough for it to break my wheel off (shattered the drum actually), flip me over atleast twice, and break off my other wheel (again, actually the drum). the first wheel landed about 300 yards away from where i landed, which was a good 50 feet or so from where i started. luckily my brother and i were able to walk away from it with only minor scratches. i was going about 30-35 when i hit it, and i wouldn't say i was going faster than i should have because it wasn't that sharp of a turn or anything different than any of the other turns, other than this 2 foot deep cutout that i hit at the right angle. oh well. looks like i'll just have to do some major fabwork and beef up the suspension.
