i ended up waiting on apple tech line for 15 mins. then them telling me it was gonna cost me $2.00/min to help me out. i cussed them out and hung up.

so then i got on their web site, and just searched around. i think it was because i brought it inside from cold to warm and tryed to turn it on....

i had to reset the ipod, switching th e hold button on and off, and then holding menu and play button for 20 seconds...

its seems fine now... i hope.
