i dunno...getting paid 50 bucks for laying on a table watching your blood leave your body into a machine and return, all while you feel lightheaded. not to mention there is that constant, dull pain for those 2 hours.

Yeah but that's like $25 an hour. If I could do that daily it'd be my second job, an extra $250 a week.

hey we (well at least you and I) pay good money to buy alcohol that thins our blood down and makes us feel light headed.... and the dull pain the day after lasts longer than 2 hours... same result, difference is you get paid! sounds like a win-win-win to me (money-buzz-help people live)

i wouldnt do it.. i saw on like 60 minutes or some show a while back that even though its confidential, and they arent supposed to find out who donated, it happened. this guy was broke in college and did it like 100 times or something, then a while later a girl found him and found out that he was her dad. she wasnt looking for money or anything, just who her dad was, which was good, but i wouldnt want to risk it.

i know a guy who used to donate blood, then go out and drink because it would only take him a beer or two to get hammered.

it's a shame what people are willing to do to their bodies :happysad:

I personally donate all the blood to the blood banks, if my bodies are fresh, then blend them up nice and smooth and pour them into the river...
