Living on your own is way better than living at home. My parents have a pretty big house and they are both professionals in the medical field so they are rarely even home so I hardly ever saw them anyways. Girls like it way more when you take them back to your own place rather than your parent's house

With the rent prices in CA, I say do it only if it doesn't cripple your budget. Anywhere else (almost anywhere else), I say live on your own.

You're 24 right? I'd definitely move out into an apartment as long as you can afford it. I was living at home with my parents off and on until I was about 22. You definitely take things more serious when you're on your own and learn the responsibilities of an adult. I say go for it bro. Just find a trustworthy friend or two and go in together on a 2 or 3 BR 2BA apartment. That will definitely cut costs.

i'm 25. i've lived on my own for a few years, but moved in with my grandparents when i got laid off in hopes of saving up some money. my plan is really to stay here and save money for a house. i just think it's pointless to waste money on rent when i don't necessarily HAVE to.

I lived at home long enough to pay off all my debt and save up for a downpayment on a condo. I wish I would have moved out of home sooner, but I also have an awesome relationship with my parents.
