So I got tickets last week for a show today. I found today that a band that I bought the tickets to see canceled. And since they were just a supporting band not a main band, ticket master will not refund me my tickets. I bitched and complained for like 20 mins over the phone, and they refused to refund or even give me credits that i can use again.

plus those other BS charges piss me off

I don't think they are wrong for refusing to refund you. :dunno: If the main attraction cancelled, then yea.

 

If you dispute these charges I hope you lose and are charged with fraud.

It's assholes who do this kind of shit who fuck it up for everyone else trying to honestly dispute charges.

 

i've heard a lot of people bitch about ticketmaster but i've never had any problems with them. a few years ago a show i went to see was cancelled due to rain (outdoor show) and ticketmaster refunded me the very next day, before i even had a chance to call them

 

I think it's perfectly legit to expect a refund for this. The conditions under which you purchased the tickets are no longer valid. It'd be like ordering a bunch of computer parts online, and getting an AMD processor instead of an Intel one, even though all the rest of your stuff was correct. While the AMD processor works just fine and you can still build a computer with it, it's not what you ordered, and you should get a refund.
