And this is not an isolated incident either, I find myself getting irritated when I read things like this cause they often go off on other crap that has absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand.

A good newspaper copy editor would not have allowed that to "go to print"; an honest and objective reporter wouldn't have brought it up.
