I see what you mean, VRGNCD5...

But I think having a more professional appearance is a good thing any way you look at it..... no pun intended.

These people are grossly overpaid and made into heroes. The least they can do is dress up.

Great point. I don't see the problem with the dress code.

The problem is is that they are being forced to dress a certain way when leaving work. That would be like you going to work having plans after work to go to the gym or something and not being able to change at work because you have a "dress code" and it would be against the rules to leave in anything other then business attire

Can we all agree that the NBA is the pinnacle of basketball? Then why is it I can't distinguish members of the NBA from the And1 tour?

The NBA is the elite group. They need to look the part and play the part.

You have the rest of your day to wear whatever you want, for the time you're at work, put on the dress code. The NBA isn't asking these guys to wear suits to sleep. The NBA isn't asking these guys to wear suits while on a jet.

It's ridiculous. I can understand making them wear a suit while they sit on the bench (if they are injured), but they are adults..let them wear what they want.

I see that point as well.

The reason i think they enacted it is because if you look at a lot of the players they look like bums when they are giving interviews. When they give these interviews they are representatives of their teams and ultimately the NBA. AI and others who dress like thugs during interviews after the game are the reason why this is in effect.

Actually, I believe they are...while travelling, press conferences, on the bench, etc.
