History books are great! Anyone read Ambrose's works?

My grandpa fought the Japanese in China when they invaded and chased everyone around. :hs:

my grandpa (a civilian doctor) was killed by the japanese for no apparent reason. good ol' war crimes.

i personally dont like history except for WWII.. id always get a's in hs during the wwii section an then fail after it was over
