ive had twc roadrunner for several years. havent had any problems with it since ive lived in raleigh. also had the 'pleasure' of working there for a while. ack.
Not familiar w/ Speakeasy, but i've heard good things about comcast in my surrounding area.
I take it Verizon hasn't laid a fiber optic infrastructure in her neighborhood as yet.
Anything to do with sattelite internet access from a consumers perspective is pretty much worthless. Last time I checked they wanted a $600 setup fee for the equipment.

- Comcast $58 for non-cable customers, 3 mb down, 256k up.
- DSL has no CO
- Just heard FIOS has started to be rolled out to the customers in her town
- If that is the case, that is the answer.
