Now when you import from CD's, they will be in MP3.

If you want to convert current songs you have to MP3, right click on them and select "Convert Selection to MP3"

I stick with AAC since it is a better compression.
Thanks man, that's exactly what I was looking for

What is the "AAC" format? Also, can you change the bitrate on ITunes, because on musicmatch you can.

AAC is another audio codec that is essentially MP4, a successor to MP3. the audio quality is better. it's not proprietary to apple, but because they decided to use it with itunes/ipods, it has become associated with them.

AAC is an MP4 file (apple's version). You can compress a song more and retain better quality. I have heard that a 128bps AAC file is about the same as a 192bps MP3.

You can change the bitrate with iTunes. You do it on the same tab (listed above) that you change file types.

I need to find a program that will organize all 60 gigs of my music into folders. Artist > Album >Cd

When you click organize folders or whatever with iTunes will it do that?
