$.33 per Gig 300 gig

I like Maxtor. My dad had a 40 gig hd sitting around from a few years ago (5 or 6 probobly) from his work. It had been dropped and they didn't need it. We only had the hd, nothing else. We called up Maxtor, they sent us a new one out within 4 or 5 days. 3 weeks later we got around to sending the old one back. We had no problem with them what-so-ever.

I just bought a 250g Seagate Barracude IDE for $150 after taxes.

I had one Maxtor fail on me, but that was years ago, and possibly due to user error :rick:
WD has been good to me, never used Seagate before
currently using 2 Maxtor drives:
40g I've had for about 3-4 years
250g I've had for almost a year.
Neither have ever given me any problems.
