So im at a party in a rochester. Dangerous area. Walkin back to the car, and all of a sudden this shooting starts. Like firecrackers but hella louder, and I've been to a gun range before and its like 'WHAM YOUR GETTING SHOT AT' so I like.. freeze, and hide behind an SUV... seriously, a bullet richochet (sp?) off of the pavement maybe 5 feet away from me.

I hauled ass to the car, peeled out, checked for wounds, everything a-ok.

Yeah I partied in Rochester once....them fuckers are crazy up there.:eek3:

 

Were they shooting at you specifically or were you just in the area? Why does someone hate you?

I was in the area, but I was getting alot of shit from the inner city kids becaus eI made the first mistake and wore an RIT sweatshirt. I didn't realize the party was in the deep part of the city. Whats funny is they were at an RIT party h: oh well.. I know that the kid who did the shooting didn't initially shoot at me, but he might have towards the last few shots.. there were maybe like 5-6 shots?

Quick story, kind of relevant to this thread.

I'm in a semi-small city in TN. There were 2 gang shootings, one that was 2 blocks from my house, one that was about 2 miles from my house.

The one that was close to my house, the people that did the shooting, actually came by my house and stopped (before the shooting took place). I had just gotten to my house with my friend, we got out of the car, and they pulled up to, and I heard someone say "no, wrong house, this isn't it" so they backed up and left. I was freaked out after it happened, and the next day I go to school and find out a kid that lives in relatively the same position as my house, just 2 streets over, his house was shot up.

 

RIT? damn i was contemplating going there 5 years ago. i didn't know it had crime.

 

Rochester, per capita, has more murders/killing/assault than NYC's worst reputation

I use to live near Rochester (Palmyra) and Rochester is nastier than NYC use to be...one of my friends cousins was killed in a drive by...he was just walking down the road....BAM!!! dead. there are some severe areas that you do NOT ever what to even look at there....

come to Reading, PA...i think it has the worst crime per capita rate in the nation.
