I won't argue looks, because that's merely opinion -- but really, how can you say the interior on a Jetta is "cheap" in comparison to a Honda?

One thing I *truely* disliked about the interior, specifically the front driver/pass seats was that fuckin crank on the side. All I have to say about it, is it's fuckery. Another thing I was truely displeased was that I couldn't recline the seat back far enough, giving me a nice sore back after an hour's worth of driving.
VW = main focus is on their interior quality but they forget to make the rest of the car high quality (if you've noticed vw is almost last on most quality studies - not a good place when they try to charge a premium over their competition - leading to their sales slide across the US and Europe)
Honda = engine company that makes a good solid vehicle - resale values are high, reputation for quality is high, has established brand

we all know that
VW=Audi
thus Audi quality sucks
now when it comes to performance and handling, they are a pretty bad ass car.
The new Jetta I do not like. Plus what the heck is VW thinking in making a 3800lb car? Sheesh!

My sister owns a Jetta (I think a 95ish). My grandmother owns a newer Jetta(post 2000).
I can't stand either of them. I've driven both. Been a passenger in both. Some of the wost cars I've ever been in. I've worked on my sisters jetta. It's cheap crap. I went to change the air filter and the whole engine compartment jiggled like a bowl of jello. No, it didn't fall appart. But it sure looked like it was going to.
My dislike for VW (yes Audi too) has come from personal experiance and personal taste.

I'm sorry but if you think an integra has a better quality interior than a jetta(mkiv 99.5-2004) than you have issue's. I owned an integra and that was the crappiest looking/feeling interior, especially for an acura. I know the seats can be a pain with the adjustment wheel, but they also have height adjustment and the bolsters are much better than most honda seats I've been in. How far do you have to recline to drive, do you lay down? I can lay my seat flat down if I wanted, but who drive's like that?
One of the main reasons I bought my golf was because of the interior design, just much nicer looking/feeling than anything in it's class.
I have no complaints on a VW's interior quality, I'm more annoyed of the interior space, or lack thereof.

they are 2 seaters disguised as 4 seaters
h: If you and you're passengers add up to an average height over 5'7" then ur screwed. I have a 4 door for easy access to my extra backseat storage...I don't use my car for hauling a lot of ppl.
