idk...i probably spent over 2k on my car and it still looks pretty crappy.
no interior mods other than a shift knob and my engine only has bolt-ons but it runs really good. i think the 2k was more towards maintainece
oh and my suspension setup
-KYB AGX (2/3)
-H&R Race
-progress rear sway
-generic front and rear strut bars
-generic lower rear tie bar
-front ES sway bar bushings

well, i bought my car kinda modded out. all i did was throw some seat cover on and add a sub and amp. soon to come are some better seat covers and some new speakers. performance wise i haven't done anything, i bought it with a clutch and intake.

Why is it a "waste of money" to mod your car? If its something you enjoy, why not do it? Just because the money COULD be used for something else, doesnt mean that, that something else is any better or any more worth the money. If you dont think moding your car is worth the exspence thats fine, but you should not try to push your views onto others by making silly statments and genneralzations like all civics are 130hp and every one has bodykits and loud exaust
