I am OBSESSED with margarita's. I don't want any other alcoholic drink as often as I want margarita's. I don't want tequila, or lime or sour mix....but once you mix it all together :yumyum:

Anyway, everynight I want to make one but I don't want to drink one by myself and my wife isn't a big drinker. As of right now I have about 3-4 per week. Mostly on the weekends but occasionally on or two during the week. Everyday I come home from class and have to fight the urge to make one. But after I drink one I am ok. I don't want to get drunk and if I could find non-alcoholic tequila flavoring (without it tasting nasty) I would make it with that. I am just worried because of how badley I want one sometimes. I'm not sure if it is alcoholism or if I just really like margarita's because it is specific to that drink and not alcohol or tequila. Alcoholism does run in my family . What do you guys think?

 

you should start smoking instead. they make a patch if u want to quit.

they make pills for drinking but u could still drink with them...ur face just turns REALLY red and u have a higher chance of throwing up. but cuz its ONLY margaritas and u dont like hard stuff, dont worry about being an alcoholic. u SHOULD get over this little thing soon. its just like when u have ONLY pizza for food. ul get sick of it. i think the same would apply here. and DONT start smoking, thats even worse.

 

quit being wipped. and bring out the "frank the tank" thats waiting to get out

having a couple drinks a night is not anything to worry about IMO

 

I used to drink 3 or 4 ... 4 or 5 times a week. Even I knew I was getting in trouble when I wouldn't even get buzzed off of that.

 

I just worry because alcoholism runs in my family (although not in my immediate family)

 

if you have 4 margaritas an hour, you've got a problem. Honestly, if you're not getting drunk, and you're not spending a lot of money, I see absolutely no problem. Theres nothing wrong with enjoying a couple drinks now and then.
