I actually felt pretty good even tho I hadn't trained in about 8 months. My cardio is getting much better now and I am feeling a lot better. I have another tournament in late October.
nice job, man. I only recommend that you keep your head up more because you're allowing yourself to be vulnerable. Really easy to eat mat, if the person you're wrestling is stronger than you. Also, you're not praying, stay off your knees
Remember to stay on your toes when you're in a position to pin someone, put all of your weight on them. As long as keep just your chest over their's, you won't get turned over and they'll wear down trying to get your 140-160ish body off of them.

I love grappling but only in the ring, outside the ring its a different story depending where you are or if you are wearing knee pads 24/7. I can't remember if I told you guys about the fight I got into in a club parking lot but to make it short....the guy shot for my knees and slammed his knees into the rough gravel and ripped them open. I felt bad but was laughing at the same time.

I was basically baiting the shot and feeling him out. I had been working that in practice a lot the day before and it had worked well.
