lexus > * my mom has a 97 es300 and she hasent done ANYTHING, tuneups ect (besides oil) and its got 160k miles on it, try doing that with the benz. not sure about the nissan. also the gs looks the nicest out of the 3. benz = german and germans have 2 many electrical and other problems. the nissan is good but cant compete with lexus.

Q45's and M35/45's are totally different cars. not to mention the Q is a bit outdated even w/ the newer generation. the other cars mentioned in this thread, specifically the lexus, are too tame. all that electronically controlled traction crap is like a babysitter who gets pissed for catching you watching jackass on mtv and makes you sit and eat cauliflower for dinner. the M allows a lot more room for fun driving, like a chaperone who'll keep an eye on you but will let you have your 'fun' (let your imagination go on that one) as long as you dont go and jump in the center of a major intersection.

I'm more impressed with a TL than a 3 series or a gs.

It doesn't take much to make a car handle well when that's all you do is give it a stiff riding suspension.

The Gloria/Cedric/Estate/Q45 and the M35/45 are both FM platform cars, just the M is a slightly shortened than the Q. Odd to say as i do like the Older GS/ as i know older Toyota Aristos cause of the lusty twin turbo 6 (88-04 Aristo V30/3.0VT) Just like the Q/Gloria /Cedric cause it hasd that rear drive thrust, altho except my beater being RWD the other cars we specialize on and i have funn to say especially the 01 and 01 Accord Tureno , one giving way to the second generation american Acura TL and the 1st ge Acura TSX. Im love my cars to death, but when i find another RWD capable of drawing my attention, like the older Soarer or GS i will , maybe buy one and get rid my Integra.I dont feel the need to buy a 3 series , maybe ill just get an Opel Omega.

The Q45 isn't on the FM platform, at least not that I know of. The FM platform was introduced with the 350Z and G35, and then was developed into other cars like the FX and M.

Tough choices. I have to say I'm partial to the GS330.
