At least the laptop is like new. I thought they gave me a brand new one until I was able to get right onto my network (mac address secured). Oh well, I needed a reformat anyway.

 

i've got an emachines (1st brand name computer i've bought in 5 years) and it work ok...the rear usb2 ports don't work for some strange reason...sometimes after a while the music won't play any sounds and i have to reboot (but on the shutdown it makes the windows exit noises)...so far not really impressed but for $450 for an amd 64 3200+ it's not a bad buy and worth the risk

 

well this is a gateway rebadged e-machines. The laptop is fine, it was just an issue with the backlight for the LCD.

 

i hate calling adelphia about service dropping for the 202034892083423rd time that week and the "on hold" commercial is constantly saying "for immediate tech support, visit the Adelphia Help page at www.adelphia.net/help!"
