I guess its becoming a trend, because I've heard its getting more and more popular before this Britney Spears thing. I think its pretty sad.

I think there has to be a medical reason to have a c-section. My wife had 2 c-sections, not by choice tho. The first one was because she wasn't progressing after 36 hours of labor, and the second was because they don't like to do a vaginal birth after a previous c-section.

My wife couldn't dialate, so they gave her one.

As to stretch marks etc, my wife was back to her tiny self within literally a month or so, and no stretch marks b/c she was told to use cocoa butter lotion while pregnant. I guarantee that a publicist or trainer or someone told spears to use it since she's in the public eye.

she will get the bikini cut scar, so she can wear low cut clothing.. u can see madonna's bikini cut c section scar in several of her videos.. the c section isnt an option the doctor has to order it.. celebrities seem to get them anyway.. epidural, the needle in the spine, can be used in both types of birth..

yeah, someone that young should NOT be undergoing a cesarean, unless there were major complications. which, if there were, they would have been reported.

and yes, they are becoming more and more popular, for some misinformed reason.
