i've installed a grand total of one anti-fog miror in a steam shower over the last 2 years....

it is basically a wire grid on the back that causes resistance and then heats the mirror up to the point where it doesnt fog

rubbing down a mirror with soap (NO WATER) then wiping it off with a towel keeps the fog off for a few days, you might have to do it again after 2 or 3 days.

and it takes quite some elbow grease to get the smudges of from the soap

i do this to my huge bathroom mirror so it doesnt fog up after i've taken a shower, works for me
