Anyone feel my pain???
Well, you add 600lbs of metal weight, you get worse gas mileage, more strain on your trans, increased tire wear, terrible turning capability.. Not to mention the weight an integra (i don't know about a civic) can hold is about 700lbs. So basically, you have an allowance for a 100lb driver and no passengers without going out of spec on your suspension. I would think there are more disadvantages.
Modding a car is only worth while if you keep it a car. Something you can't drive isn't a car, it's a giant piece of metal sitting on a trailer that gets dropped off at shows and is otherwise useless.
But from another point of view, if said show car makes you some serious loot to pump into a real car, I say go for it. But at least design the car so it will win shows. This car would win metal work shows, but definitely not car shows.

He realy can't answer though because if he says yes then he discredits all race cars, if he says no then he contradicts what he said previously which makes him a hypocrite.
So he has painted himself into a corner and I would like to hear his logic behind the comment.

There's more racing out there than just drag racing. Drag racing is the football of racing. No brains, all brawn. Open wheel or Formula racing is the chess. It takes a sick car AND a highly skilled driver with years of training and experience. Do me a favor, bring your drag car to a circuit and videotape yourself flying off the track every five seconds because you only know how to drive fast in straight lines.
The only thing I'll be doing to my car is tein shocks, spoon 15's, I/H/E, and weight reduction. Maybe some other engine mods, but other than that, it's going to look EXACTLY like an RS until the day I sell the thing. After that, I don't care what body kit, wing, and stickers some 17 year old loser puts all over it.
