Trying to give up soda
I quit by excercising and drink a lot of water. While I was on my workout routine I made sure to limit my soda intake to 1 can every 3 days. I use to drink a 2ltr or more per day. I have to get back into my lifting routine and back onto my more water less soda diet.

Watch out for Gadorade and Powerade as well. They have a lot of calories. Water is your best bet if you are looking to lose more weight.
As for me I cut back on soda greatly. I only drink it when I am out or at my gf's house.
you can always try crystal light or arizona green tea mix instead of soda. just until you stop craving the taste of something sweet then you can just drink water. i used to love sweetened drinks but now i take everything straight up. coffee = black. tea = unsweetened
water with a LEMON!! whenever I go out, I order that. I really haven't drank soda in months!!! every once in a while if I go to Pats or Gino's (REAL PHILLY cheesesteaks) I'll get a birch beer, or something along those lines I'll get a soda, but it's rare and only one! lol

I'm addicted to water...if I'm somewhere and I don't have water handy, I start freaking out. but, I don't ruin my water by putting lemon in it...I get annoyed when I order water at a restaurant and they put a lemon wedge in it.
