crossing the highway drunk
http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_ho.../27120202.html
the best part is
the distraught message left and the mother " accidentally deleted it"
she must of been really plastered to wonder onto the freeway.
she looked hot too.

Yeah but what else can the cab driver do if the lady is assaulting him while he is driving.
VM's should be retrievable up to a certain extent. Im sure the cell phone carriers retain vm's for a certain amount of time for instances like this.
I think the driver shouldnt of pulled over onto the shoulder but since he did he should of at least made an effort to prevent her from walking on the highway even if he does get an ass whippin but, you know how drunks get when they want things their way.
dont they have partitions? He could of just kept driving in circles and alert the police.

That bitch deserved to get hit.
Seriously being a cabbie is a thankless job and now he is supposed to put up with this bitch assaulting him in his own cab and probably swearing at him and treating him like crap. I think not, I would have kicked her out while we were still rolling if she tried that shit with me.
She got what was coming to her if this is truly what happened.

"Vest said her sister was intoxicated the morning of the accident but was trying to be a responsible citizen by not drinking and driving."
Since when are drunk people, responsible citizens? Darwinism doing its job.

Apathy Kills
Forgive me for over-analyzing.. but don't most cabs have driver-controlled door locks nowadays?
You know, to prevent passengers from ditching without paying?
If so, how did this woman get out of the cab?
Was there a partition to protect the driver?
I agree, the cabbie ought to have exited off the highway if possible, but if that girl was wailing on the back of his head, what can you expect him to do?
I don't know if she deserved to get run over... but she sure as hell didn't need to start assulting a cab driver in a drunken fit.
