Actually, When I was at Universal Studios with my GF, I was holding a tampon for her because she had a skirt on, and when I was paying for a Shot Glass it came out with the change. The lady at the reigster gave me the wierdest look

only once. but then again, i was leaving a street right after the cops came to bust one of the street racing spots. so i guess i saw it coming, but damn, it sucked. had to get out of my car, hands behind my back, searched me and the car, sat on the curb, all the while everything with that stupid spotlight on me :a: and went home with 1 traffic violation ticket and 3 fixit tickets... but whatever. im over it. its not like i was doing something legal to begin with anyway.

 

Never. I had a cop ask me why aren't I out racing(I have a *flinch* wing on my trunk I'm trying to get rid of). Tampons...My best friend told me a story. She was out with a few of her friends and some guy with them got a bloody nose...They didn't have any tissues or anything so he got a tampon up the nose. I guess it stopped the bleeding really fast. He kept the tampon in the whole time..That takes guts being out in public with a bloody tampon in your nose..

 

officers only really have the right to search your vehicle at your consent, a warrant, or if they have a sense of fear while approaching your car (life is in grave danger because searches can only happen in the cabin of your car readily reachable by you). When there is no fear involved there can be no search, so act calm and keep you hands on the wheel (in open view) and just be polite. They have no reason to search your car and if they do it is then illegal.

 

Yes, right after I was caught running another GS-R at the street races. He tore my car up, then afterwards he was cool and didn't arrest me

Yeah it sucked, on July 4 I got a bloody nose while I was out with my gf and friends, we had to use likea napkin and ran over to the closest store (Longs) and had to wait to use to bathroom... Man, maybe I should keep a tampon with me at all times now... lol

 

If you do deny them a search, though, you better be damn sure there's nothing illegal or wrong with your car that they can see from the outside. The standard of probably cause for a car is much less than for a house, and evidence taken from a car does not necessarily need to have a warrant attached to it. Anything illegal on your car is then grounds for impoundment, and in impound they have all the time in the world to search your car.
