Has your vehicle ever been searched by 5 0
I was reading this and decided to ask us all

I've had an officer ask me once if i consent to having him search my car. I told him you could search the vehicle as long as a warrant is produced.
Now he threatened me he could get one etc...which is fine but I know its not a 10 minute process and he had no probable cause to search my car.
Plus Judges arent awake at 2am. I wasnt a dick about it either and eventually I was on my way.

yep, vehicle searched and I had to place my hands on my head and get searched as well. All of this happened on I-5.
Had my hood popped many a time, as well.
Nothing since I sold my teg.

hey what about asians. i pulled over, searched, car was searched from head to toe, (cds, coins, and anything you can think of was thrown around in my car and on the street), the damn cop even lost my registration, then proceeded to tell me that i didnt have one

one time when we were young and stupid, got pulled over, all 4 of us searched 1 at a time, car searched.... it wasnt my car but i guess since i was in it, it counts

The 8 times I have been asked if they could search the car I have denied them every time asking them each time what reason they might have for searching my car or suspecting anything to be illegally in it. Each time they made it sound like I had to concede to the search and I simply said get a warrant, it is my property and unless you have evidence that leads you to a search I have the right to decline your request.
I am always polite about it but I know it irks them that I exercise my rights without fearing the officer.

why does everything have to be even across the board? how can anyone even think that that is possible? would this even be an issue if it were the whites that more likely to get cuffed and searched?
