yup, could having an aftermarket core support and fenders be part of my problem? i also didnt use those plastic things that cover the hinges, but i dont know how much of a difference that makes.......

most aftermarket hoods suck in fitment. pins will help a little because they'll pull the hood down. but if the oem hood fit fine, and this one doesn't, it's probably this hood that's the problem.

friend's celica hood did the same thing. I spent a few hours messing with the hinges and installing pins and it still looked like shit.

the oem hood never fit perfectly either.....

which ons, the ones on the core support? or the ones on the hood?
