I bought one of those too, and really don't like it either. The reasons swaying me to keep it:

1. It was $21 for two figures. Can't beat that.

2. TRU limited edition run. Folks in Japan didn't get this.

3. Even though Starscream is an ugly maroon color (should have called him thrust), it will become super collectable due to the color variant.

...Also...I know if I pass it up, I'll be hunting it down a year later on e-bay and kicking myself in the butt for not snagging it on discount and sale.

 

I kind of like the set...but I haven't opened it yet. They're all hidden away in my trunk...waiting to be set free.
