Anyone here have opened Cybertron figures? What are your opinions? Of which ones that you have opened, would you recommend that others purchase and open?

Prime - open

Sideways - maybe open

Megatron - better off not opening. If you want to open, wait to buy a Galvatron and open that instead.

Starscream - maybe open

Leobreaker isn't that great...the only thing is that you need to open it if you want him to be Prime's arm. I haven't figured out how to make him the arm and still put Prime's guns on though.

I also opened Sideways and Megatron. Both are not bad, and you have to open Megatron so Prime has someone to fight.

I opened an Energon Scorponok, which is basically the same as the Cybertron one. Nothing special, and not really worth opening in my opinion...maybe not even worth buying, but I think I got it at Tuesday Morning for cheap.

When's this coming out? I already got a Battle Convoy a.k.a Laser Prime on order. I got the Black Laser Prime a.k.a. RID Scourge...

Do I really need this?

Why the hell do they keep naming stuff Magnus when it's not bigger than Prime? There should be a rule that he has to be bigger than Prime.

You tuck prime's arm and shoulder flat to his back, kind of like 1/2 trailer. Then the supermode back-pack fits over the 1/2 cab. Even though I don't have an open Leobreaker, I tried prepping prime for the arm.

If you watch the cartoon, you'll see how to do it.

*EDIT* Are you asking about prime or leobreaker?

Andrew explained that to me on the ride home from the airport...

Magnus is supposed to be a white prime, with power armor...he's not supposed to have the armor on all the time...

something like that.

Haha, I'm glad I didn't try to take his arm off then. The cartoon is like a video instruction manual

I remember that being mentioned in here somewhere before. This one is just called Laser Magnus, so I guess it's acceptable. But something like MP Ultra Magnus is unacceptable...it says Ultra!

That's what I find so cool about this series. The toys transform in the same sequences as shown in the cartoon.

G1 was cool, but when you watched G1 prime transform on screen and tried to pretend with the toy...it didn't match up...

Why are you asking this? Of course you need it! :run:

You'll regret not getting it later.
