HID > HID in OEM projector housing > Halogen > HID in OEM reflector housing

Also - HIDs don't require projectors, necessarily. Look at the last gen CL and 3.2TL - both had HIDs, both had reflectors. (Not as good as the current TL, though.)

But those reflector housings were designed for HID, unlike halogen reflector housings.

i think i would do it like this --> OEM HID > OEM HID Retrofit > HID kit in OEM halogen projector housing (properly aimed and rebased) > HID kit slapped together in OEM halogen projector housing > Silverstar of some sort > stock bulbs > HID kit slapped in OEM halogen reflector housing

some of you may be getting old for this but in my case im new in the import scene. so in order to put HID i would have to upgrade the housing for the bulb or whatever it is? But i dont think I'll be doing that anytime soon. I'm having trouble with my lights since i bought the car. since it was in a head on crash the left light lites up the trees and people's faces when turning. and when i pull up to some one i see them turn down their rear view mirro to get the light out of their face. I'm just asking for a ticket or might cause an accident. and i can't get the light to face straight. what should i do, bend metal?

dont take it personal man, at least i didnt mean it that way. dont know about dc2 or 95sir.

i'm on my second set of HID's. the first set was a full mcculloch 5300k 9006 kit. the current set is from a lexus gs300, with machined based 9006 d2s HID bulbs. I had to fiddle with the proper depth, aiming, grounding rod position, and other stuff to get them to have a decent cutoff and virtually no glare.

anyway, my recommendation is to get your lights as level as possible. there should be a good explanation on how to adjust the height/aim of your headlights in your owner's manual. keep us updated.
