Default Buying from the Honda factory like the Germans let you do

I know people who saved money (even after all expenses) by buying their German (Mercedes, BMW... and others Volvo, etc) at the factory in Europe. Drove it around for vacation there. Stored it to get 3 months on it, then shipped it to the USA as a used car. All for cheaper than to get the same car here.

I wish Honda would let you do that.

for BMW you don't buy it from the factory. You just take delivery at the factory. You save about 3-6K depending on the car. The car is also not stored for 3months, when you are done with the car in Europe, you drop it off at many of the drop off locations and it takes about 4-6weeks for it to reach the US and your house.

the car itself is cheaper but you have to pay your own way to germany and pay for hotel, food, etc, all out of your own pocket. The plus is that you use the money you saved to pay for your vacation.
