I accepted a dime from bermuda today. I said:

"OH that's not even Canadian" and she looked at me all sadly and said "but it's the only dime I have" and I said "okay i'll take it!" and then in the cashier's office I switched it.

I really don't care if the bill is ripped, torn, washed, etc. What really pisses me off is when somebody makes me take the stack of singles out and find them the "cleanest" ones.

I do too, but I don't like paying for purchases under $10 with my debit card if I have cash. One time I went to Sonic and the idiot girl swiped my car for $8xx.xx dollars, saw the mistake and recredited it back to my card. Little did she know that it takes a few days for that credit to reimburse my card and it wasn't pretty when I had several checks out for rent/utilities.

It was well worth it if she had to pick it up off the ground...I'm guessing she didn't but that woulda been cool. Or even better, reach over and put the 1 dollar bill on the ground near her feet and say "You keep it...you need it more than me".

Comes up to $2.50 so I just reach in my wallet and use cash since I just got change from dinner. I hand her 3 $1 and one of them was missing about 15% of the dollar as if it got torn off. She was like:

Her: Enh eh, this ain't gone work.
Me: What do you mean, it's a dollar isn't it? I just got that from Taco Bell as part of my change.
Her: Nope, ain't gone work.
Me: (hands her another dollar from my wallet and take back the one that ain't gone work)

After that, she reaches to give me back my change (50 cents).
I take it and throw it back on the counter..

Me: Nah you keep it. (walks out of store while she looks at me speechless)

I swear they hire the most ghetto fab people around here. No customer service skills whatsoever. My ex worked at a bank and she told me before that its acceptable as long as you can see the face on the bill, one whole serial #, and at least half of the other.
iiiiii friggin know man. once i was in walmart and the sign clearly says "all alcohol purchases must be made before 12:00 midnight) well i roll up to the counter at exactly 11:45 and the lady says "i cant sell that its too late" im like i still have 15 min and she goes "yeah we have to stop sellin at midnight, ill get in trouble" im like "do you see that clock (non digital, has those tricky hands ) she is like "yeah" im like that says 11:45 and it means that in 15 min you can start saying that" she says, and ill never forget "mr, i know what your doing, your trying to trick me and if you dont leave im going to call the police" i just laughed and asked for a manager. she goes "i am the manager for the late shift" hmmmmmmmmmmm no beer for me.

lol people are really weird with alcohol sales though. I don't take out of state ID's and this really pisses people off. Oh well.
