Default DVD copying?

hey, what program(s) will allow me to take a DVD movie, copy it onto my laptop, and let me play it in DIVX? also, once its able to play in DIVX, what program(s) do i need in order to burn them to a DVD-R?

why would you go from dvd to divx and back to dvd?

DVD to DVD = DVD Shrink + Nero

DVD to .avi = Dr. Divx

divx is just what i have on my comp to watch movies. is there another program thats better?

you can watch the .vob files from the dvdrom so you dont have to rip to divx

I use DVD Decryptor and DVD shrink.

i like nero recode, it's really easy, basically you just insert both discs and press burn! =)
