If you own a dvd, you can make as many copies of it as you want.. "fair use agreement"

Making backup copies of your own movie is not an "unauthorized duplication" of a movie.

well, if it's not, point out to me where on the dvd case does it state it's okay to make 'back up' copies of your movies.

Of course it's not going to say "buy me and make copies of me" on the dvd case. I already pointed out what matters, the fair use agreement.

Heh. Some major band did that. They 'strongly encourage' buyers to burn copies to hand out.

:werd:
watch a dvd some time and freeze it when it comes to copy right message...it says it is fine to copy for personal use. It may not be re-broadcast or sold for profit, but as long as you own the media you can copy it as many times as you want as long as you the owner keep them.
