I don't know where to look.
What is a long beep, followed by 3 short beeps (beep, beep beep)?
I unplugged my computer because of an impending storm (power, cable, and phone line). After 4 hours came home and plugged everything in and pressed the start button and the fans came on for about 2 seconds and shut off. Tried pressing the power button and nothing. Unplugged the computer til the little green light turned off. Plugged back in, pressed power button and did same thing.
So I replaced the power supply since that's what two people recommended. And now I get the long beep, followed by 3 short beeps. What's that mean? I think I have everything plugged in right.

Off the top of my head, it could be a few things, depending on your motherboard.
-Your onboard battery might be dead, try that or reset your BIOS (jumper).
-Your memory; might not be seated or failed.
-Your video card might not be seated correctly, maybe you bumped something.
I am almost sure it's video card related.
