overall, it looks pretty good but the font is a bit small and there is something wrong with your home address

i didn't take the time to read through the whole thing because i'm a lazy ass, but at first glance, the format is laid out very well. essential info is easy to find and it isn't cluttered. for recruiters who have to read through hundreds of these things, they just want something that's short and sweet.

Looks good but might I suggest a more professional e-mail address.

A couple changes "I" would make. Take them for what they're worth.

Get a professional e-mail address. From the looks of it your resume, it's the only thing not professional about it. Even if you only use if for a couple of months, every little bit could help.

Add a small "Hobbies and Interests" section. Many times interviewers like to talk about your hobbies and see how you might fit in the company with others currently employed there. It also shows them you have a life outside of work.

Good luck!!

I think you list a little too much job's you had int he past. Emplyers don't really like seeing you bouncing from one job to another. It makes you look like you dont have job security...

Btw, whats the employer?

That's the key. I have mine laid out so it's easy to see the key points, and it's slightly less than a page. Also, a more professional email addy would be good, as stated earlier.

thanks for the constructive criticism guys

i thought of the professional email address as well. i wonder if you can send a gmail invite to a gmail address...

i was told by a lot of people to keep it to 1 page, and one page only... this is why my font is so small. this is also why i dont have any extras like hobbies and interests.

as for the high number of jobs, i toyed with the idea of leaving some out because they were otherwise irrelevant to any job's i'd be looking into, however i was told by a number of people that its better to list all the jobs because your timeline doesnt have any gaps or holes. holes in the timeline would lead one to assume that you were unemployed for that time period. im not sure what looks better-- a job that has nothing to do with the job you're applying for, or having no job at all.

thanks again for the comments guys, keep em coming. this is really helping.

For my resume, since I don't really have professional experience related to my major, I have a table of software i know, and one of coursework...then I listed my jobs and the duties there.
