Default Workout Crew Update: v.7.13.05

It's that time of week again. How are you guys and girls doing with your workouts fitness goals?

I am doing well. I switched up my lifting routines and schedules. I am now lifting 5 days a week instead of 3 to 4 days a week. I have also been aletring my eating habbits and been eating 4-6 small meals a day.

I hear ya Sunny. Just try to fit in a few workouts a week when you're that busy. They don't have to be long, just go there and stick with it. Otherwise it will be very hard to get back into things.

if you don't stick with a routine and workout on a consistant basis you won't see a difference. It takes longer for some than it does for others. Just stick with it and eventually you will see a difference. Once you do forget it, you'll be hooked.

I'm still doing my regular routine of cardio 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes. I also hit my 2nd goal, I weighed in at 228 on Friday. 3rd goal is 215 now I can't believe I'm down to what I am right now, I'm going to keep going and see how low I can get.

That is truely awesome. How much did you weigh when you started and when did you start? Have you been doing any lifting along with the cardio? Can you post what your eating routine has been as well?

I weighed about 275-280 when I started back in late october. I got mono and that helped kick start the weight loss. Since I had mono I wasn't able to lift so I just stuck with cardio. I haven't touched a weight since then, yet I'm toning up very nicely. nothing but using the elipitical machine with the hand attachments.

as for eating:
I try to drink a good amount of water every day, and if I do have any soda I have diet coke caff. free

morning Mon-Fri
Quaker Oat squares with skim milk
small glass of juice with a multi vitamin

brunch Sat-Sun.
2 eggs, 2 slices of toast, juice
it varries, but that is usually what I have during the weekend.

lunch Mon-Fri
brown bag lunch special
a small bag fresh carrot sticks
a small bag of mixed fruits such as grapes, strawberries, and pineapple
a sandwich of some sort, no cheese

dinner
I try to watch my portion size and make sure its not a super helping of food like I used to do. I also try to eat a lot of fresh foods, and veggies. I like fresh cooked broccoli, and most green veggies, raw carrots, baked potato, corn on the cob. I always make sure the main course has some protein so if I'm having spagetti I thow some meat in the sauce.

desert
if I do get the munchies I try to make sure I don't eat anything after 8pm, and if I like to eat fresh fruits. fresh pineapple is my favorite thing to munch on. its healthy, and gives me my sweet fix I sometimes crave.

Walk or ride your bike. That can be your cardio. I don't have far to go to my gym. It's across the hall from me :chuckles:
