How does each one work, what is the difference, how do they relate to each other? Thanks

torque is low-end power at the low-mid rpm range, and hp is high-end power from mid-high rpm range. as u add mods to increase ur hp, they also automatically increase your torque. so you cant have torque without hosepower, and viceversa.

Horsepower is how fast the work is produced. Torque gets you moving. The more horsepower you have, then the faster torque is produced.

As stated above, to get going you use Torque...but after all of your torque is gone, the Horsepower pulls the rest.

Torque is measured, horsepower is calculated.

HP = (Torque*rpm)/5252

On dyno sheets, the torque and hp curves always cross at 5252 rpm. Below 5252, the torque curve is higher than hp, and above 5252 hp is higher than torque.
