how is the difference between lcd tv and just lcd
im lookin to get one for my room to watch tv
if need be ill get a tv tuner vid card

i was reading on [H]... that they dont recommend using an LCD TV as a monitor because it wont keep up in games. I dont think the average user would have any problem though.

really?


specs seem to be the same b/t most LCD TV's and LCD monitors. How is one different from the other when it comes to games?

itll be for watching tv and dvd
and itll be hooked up to computer to watch .avis and stuff

lcd tv's are junk. most only go up to 1024x768. i'm pretty sure the response times are horrible compared to lcd monitors. they are expensive too. if you're only using it for watching video, i guess it would be okay. :dunno:

Resolution isn't as high and refresh rate is slower than a monitor.
