I'm going to have to get off my butt and get me a digital SLR, but with a houseful of Pentax bodies and lenses it really limits my selection.....can you guess? I don't know why I have always liked the red-headed stepchild of the photography world, but I had them and used them since I was a freshman in high school.

I would still be shooting film if it weren't for the workflow requirements of work and the fact that most magazines now won't accept or have problems accepting film based submissions anymore.

I say dust off the film bodies and use them, the images out of camera are generally sharper, the colors are brighter, and just stand out a lot more than a straight digital created file. Besides you can get the negatives scanned to disc and play with them in PS if you want to.

Yeah, I think what I am going to end up doing is taking a PS class at the local CC. I can already scan negatives, but I think I will get a dedicated neg scanner. I'm not doing this for business, but I do need to make some income and what better way than to turn a hobby into a business, get to write everything off.
I'm still on disability from my liver transplant last year. I won't be going back into remodeling kitchen's & baths...too strenuous, especially working for myself, by myself. Besides it's more fun running around taking pictures. I used to shoot my jobs for my folder to show prospects, talk about squeezing into places trying to get a good shot of a bathroom, without getting yourself in the mirror.
